Job Title: District ParaEducator for Art 

Reporting to: OAC Building Principal 

Location: Santa Fe Trail District

Salary: TBD

Position Summary 

The Santa Fe Trail District Art ParaEducator will demonstrate a commitment to learning and positively impact student achievement through providing instruction to students in art. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate skills in a variety of art techniques and art instruction

• Operate basic art studio equipment

• Demonstrate enthusiasm for and interest in the art instructional program

• Communicate with and understand the needs of pupils

• Prepare instructional materials for students 

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others

• Seek, listen, and respond appropriately to suggestions, requests, and concerns

• Plan and organize work to meet schedules and timelines.

• Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities that the Building Administrator may assign

 

Qualifications Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

 

Qualifications and/or Experience 

High School Diploma or equivalent required 

Knowledge of and evidence of successful work with adolescents
